Introduction

"I love you as certain dark things are to be loved,

in secret, between the shadow and the soul."

~Pablo Neruda~

When was the last time you laughed so hard you couldn’t catch your breath?

Not the awkward, agonized noise you make when you have to ask someone a third time for their name, or even the hearty chuckle you give at a solid joke. I mean a true, unbridled laugh—one that makes your sides ache, your cheeks burn, and every moment afterward feel lighter, more vibrant. The kind of joy that feels both intimate and electric, like a secret only the two of us share

Is it too forward of me to say I want to create that moment with you?

Laughter, after all, is one of life’s most exquisite moments. And ultimately, that’s what I want for you — to come alive and be unapologetically yourself in my company. To reacquaint with the parts of you that crave spontaneity, beauty, and the kind of connection that stays with you long after we’ve parted ways.

Maybe we’ll wander through the fog-draped trails of Mount Tam, the air crisp, our banter almost too easy. Or we’ll find ourselves sharing a quiet corner of a bar, gazes lingering a beat longer than they should, wrapped in that delicious tension of intimacy too naked for a public setting.

Maybe, though, it’s simpler than that. A bed of crisp sheets, morning light filtering through the curtains, savoring the stillness over coffee and my hand tracing patterns on your skin.

What I offer is more than an escape—it’s a chance to create something remarkable. A memory that lingers, the feeling of being eased back into the world, not just refreshed but reawakened. Lingering in our thoughts is the excitement and anticipation for when we’ll see each other next, waiting to return and discover each other anew.

Our story starts here. Won’t you join me?
